How Can I Get Early Warnings?
To get early warnings, download apps like MyShake and QuakeAlertUSA or contact your local emergency management office.
Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) will also send alerts to your phone. You can enable these in your phone's settings.
What Should I Do When I Get an Alert?
When you get an alert:
- Drop to the ground.
- Take cover under a sturdy table or desk.
- Hold on until the shaking stops.
